About

Dr. Ventriglia is a board-certified psychiatrist with a passion for helping others thrive. Growing up in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, Dr. Ventriglia developed a deep appreciation for diversity and a keen understanding of the human experience. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he cultivated an interest at the cross section of evolutionary biology and psychology. Dr. Ventriglia then earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Committed to excellence in patient care and professional growth, Dr. Ventriglia completed his psychiatric residency at Boston University, honing his skills in diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic interventions. Throughout his training, he developed a holistic approach to mental health that emphasizes the importance of addressing both biological and psychosocial factors in treatment.

Dr. Ventriglia believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms of mental illness. He takes the time to understand each individual's unique background, experiences, and goals, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Dr. Ventriglia strives to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors openly and without judgment.

In his free time, Dr. Ventriglia enjoys pursuing his passions outside of psychiatry. An avid photographer and aquarist, he also stays active through Brazilian jiu-jitsu, skiing, and golf, finding balance and rejuvenation in physical activity and exploration.

Will my insurance cover my visit?
-
We operate on a fee-for service basis, meaning that I am an "out of network" provider. However, many of my clients receive partial reimbursement from their insurance providers. To assist in this process, I provide detailed billing statements, commonly referred to as "superbills", which can be submitted to insurance companies for potential reimbursement. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider about out-of-network benefits before scheduling an appointment.
